Founder

Founder, The Textile Loft

Wagura started The Textile Loft to challenge the idea that quality apparel must be imported. She saw a Kenyan industry full of talent and demand, but short on reliable, high-quality production — so instead of designing clothes and outsourcing the rest, she built the factory herself.

Today, The Textile Loft and Label Tisa Limited — her small-batch manufacturing house — sit under one roof. The same hands that source the fabric, cut the pattern, and sew the seam also design the collection, which means every Textile Loft piece is proof of what local manufacturing can look like: ethical, efficient, and commercially strong.

The Textile Loft is produced in-house by Label Tisa Limited, our own full-service, small-batch garment manufacturer based in Nairobi, Kenya — from concept and fabric sourcing to production, garment printing and packaging.
