We Make What We Believe In.

The Textile Loft is proudly designed and produced in Kenya.

Our collections are made in-house by Label Tisa Limited, our full-service, small-batch garment manufacturing company based in Nairobi. This means we don't simply design our clothes and send them elsewhere to be made. We are involved in the entire journey — from concept and fabric sourcing to printing, branding, cutting, production and finishing.

Being our own manufacturer gives us the freedom to create differently. We can produce in smaller batches, experiment with new ideas, maintain greater control over quality and reduce unnecessary overproduction.

For us, making clothes in Kenya is not just where our garments are produced. It is part of who we are.

Philosophy

Style is a reflection of inner confidence.

Our pieces carry an understated edge — adventurous in spirit, polished in execution. We design for the woman who moves through her day with ease, where function and style come together seamlessly.

Design Ethos

01 — Fluid & Structured
Soft, fluid fabrics meet structured materials to create depth and contrast.

02 — Sculpted to Move
Precision cuts that enhance the body's natural lines, designed to feel like a second skin.

03 — The Unexpected Detail
Unexpected stitching, cuts and subtle details that add personality and an understated edge.

04 — Gentle Movement
Soft draping and fluid silhouettes that move with the body and celebrate femininity.

05 — Beautifully Practical
Luxurious, practical materials chosen for comfort, durability and effortless everyday wear.

"Independent. Confident. Adventurous. She wants clothing that makes a statement without trying too hard."

Founder

Wagura Kamwana
Founder, The Textile Loft

Wagura started The Textile Loft to challenge the idea that quality apparel must be imported. She saw a Kenyan industry rich in talent and creativity, but lacking reliable, high-quality production. So instead of simply designing clothes and outsourcing the rest, she built the manufacturing capability herself.

Today, The Textile Loft and Label Tisa Limited — her small-batch manufacturing house — sit under one roof. From sourcing fabrics and developing patterns to cutting, sewing and finishing, the process stays close.

This approach gives The Textile Loft the freedom to create thoughtfully, produce in smaller batches and maintain control over quality — proving what locally made fashion can look like: considered, capable and commercially strong.

"I never believed Africa lacked talent. I believed we needed to build the infrastructure to give that talent room to grow."
